Sometimes special things happen on that special day... it's part of what makes Christmas so magical.

Like when Tommy's mom hand-makes him his own set of all of his favorite animal toys, and then watching the two of them share the moment.

And why even try and describe the moment, when a picture can say so much more...

What Christmas Joy Looks Like

If you think Christmas is about buying lavish gifts, and running around - you don't feel the way I do about Christmas.

But I'm lucky to share my life and my boy with someone that inspires me to make Christmas about more than some cool thing you got your kid at the mall.

Today I pulled off the seldom seen trifecta - I got a sleeping Tommy out of the stroller, took off his winter hat and coat AND changed his diaper before putting a still asleep wee lad into bed.
